foodies! It’s Leah & Jane. Here's how two Sassy Chicks hit the
streets of our nation's capital with sizzlin’ STIX.
In her
former life, Jane was not only a bricklayer (so don't mess with her),
but an executive in fashion retail.
Meanwhile,
Leah has been raising two little kiddies and making artisan jewelry,
that she peddled at street festivals.
Jane
was fed up with corporate America and Leah was ready for something new
- change was just around the bend…
At a party last fall, we talked about how fun it would be own a foodtruck. After chatting a few times we both realized this was a challenge we really wanted to undertake.
While surfing the net, a lonely little mail truck told us it wanted a more exciting life. So we bought it and STIX was born!
Realizing the need for healthy street food, we set a goal to create delicious and portable cuisine. Our marinades focus on infusion of intense flavor, while mindful of fat and calorie content. This is on-the-go eating at its best. All STIX are grilled on site, so you can smell us down the street.
